We all know that there are many challenges that optometry students face; studying for midterms and finals, passing all parts of the NBEO, becoming efficient and confident in seeing patients, mastering clinical procedures, etc. What we sometimes forget is that challenges don't disappear once you graduate from school. You'll be faced with new challenges as a new graduate optometrist; finding a job, handling a difficult patient schedule, balancing personal and professional time, etc. Dr. Vicki Wong explains these difficulties that are common to many new graduates during an interview at Vision Expo West.
