With the Tecnis Symfony intraocular lens having been available for a little over a year now, we are starting to see many cases of this lens being implanted, the post-operative journey that the patients went through, and the refractive and vision results from the Symfony lens.
I currently work at a refractive surgery center in which we now almost exclusively use the Symfony lens for our patients who are undergoing cataract surgery with a multifocal lens implant. Our outcomes are better than before; sharper vision at both distance and near with less glare and halos, a smoother transition through the viewing distances, and greater depth of focus. Our patients and our surgeons have been extremely satisfied!
