I work as an associate at a private practice in Carlsbad, CA.

As you are likely aware, the NBEO is changing the format of the Part 1 Applied Basic Science (ABS) examination. The final paper-and-pencil (PNP) version will be administered in August 2016, then to be replaced by the computer-based test (CBT) format beginning in March 2017. In addition to transitioning to a computer-based format, there are a few more differences that you should be aware of. 

Optometrists and optometry students are receiving unsolicited Chase Amazon credit cards in the mail. In addition, optometrists and students have been notified of fraud alerts by credit monitoring services. At this time, the source of the breach is unknown.
