The New NBEO Part 1

As you are likely aware, the NBEO is changing the format of the Part 1 Applied Basic Science (ABS) examination. The final paper-and-pencil (PNP) version will be administered in August 2016, then to be replaced by the computer-based test (CBT) format beginning in March 2017. In addition to transitioning to a computer-based format, there are a few more differences that you should be aware of.

An estimated 16 million people in the U.S. are diagnosed with dry eye disease. Xiidra is the first prescription eye drop. FDA-approved to treat both the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease. A U.S. launch of Xiidra planned for third quarter 2016.
